Ascending is an exquisite representation of the spiritual journey. Symbols from the Tibetan Buddhist, Hindu and Judeo-Christian traditions are interwoven with physical landmarks found on the British Columbian Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler. Compassion and wisdom evolve through the circles, or chakras, from Christ through Manjusri riding on flames and water up through the celebratory gathering of jesters and dancers.
